For CA and CS Foundation entrance exams, the minimum eligibility is passing Class 12 (10+2) from a recognized board or equivalent.
CA Foundation
Candidates who want to register for the Chartered Accountancy course have to clear the CA Foundation exam, a national level exam. The test is conducted twice a year by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
CS Foundation:
For the Company Secretary (CS) program, the Foundation entrance exam is now the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET), a computer-based exam conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) four times a year, in January, May, July, and November.

What is CSEET?

Replaced the CS Foundation: CSEET replaced the CS Foundation course, and passing it allows direct admission to the CS Executive course.

Mandatory for CS Executive: CSEET is the qualifying entrance test for registration to the CS Executive Programme.

ICSI Conducts: The exam is conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

Four Times a Year: CSEET is conducted four times a year: January, May, July, and November.

Computer Based: The CSEET is a computer- based exam.

CS Foundation Exam Pattern On the first day, tests for subjects Business Environment and Law and Business Management, Ethics and Entrepreneurship will be conducted. On the second day, tests for the subjects Business Economics and Fundamentals of Accounting and Auditing will be conducted.
